The attempt to silence a man is
the greatest honor you can bestow on him.
It means that you recognize
his superiority to yourself.

11-30-98: i had a slightly upbeat a positive title for today

i have so much that i want to talk about and not the foggiest notion how to get it all on this page in a coherent and cogent manner (not that any of you know me for being either of the aforementioned adjectives.) i just want to be understood. i'm thankful for i'm thankful that this year is almost over. the good times were good, the bad times were bad, but the memories will be unforgettable. i'm thankful for the people i've met this year...young and old and the friendships that i haven't let die. whew...and i'm thankful to have finally completed my masters degree in time for my grandmother to see me graduate. and i'm thankful for my new niece elondia...she is the sun to brighten a dreary day. mwah. oh my going home was such a restful and peaceful existence. just had dinner with mom/sis/niece...at our cousin jennifer's house. the food was good. i ended up not travelling to kannapolis until thursday morning and that had some people freaked out. i just couldn't make it before then. i went home wednesday nite and went to be at 9:30pm. you know that is unheard of. but it gave me a chance to be well-rested for the trip and also didn't cause any traffic accidents on I-40. ridiculousness was abundant that morning. so i first ate with my gramma, my LOVELY aunt, and my l'oncle. okay okay let's just say now that MY 41-YEAR-OLD uncle has just moved back into HIS MOTHER'S HOUSE. i guess the real world was just too much for him. it's supposedly a temporary thing...but damn that is such a shame. i hope his kids don't follow in his footsteps. he's a great guy, but messed up wouldn't quite be the word for it. and unfortunately, i inherited all of my FINANCE savvy from him. THANK YOU MISTER BILL COLLECTOR, i'll be right with you. and my aunt lost her keys and they were travelling to atlanta the next day (sniff, sniff). without me of course...so you know the mojo was working. she ended up renting a car. i think they had a good time. she called me this morning and we're going to do lunch tomorrow as she's headed back to DC. apparently she has stories to tell...wh3333 family gossip. gotta head out now....but this entry is unfinished. i may stop by campus and right more. yes, you care! it's all about positivity! again thank you cameron please visit her page. we share a bond.

w00 this is me in a nutshell...
