September 14: aloha from nyc

And actually it should be 15th! oh well.

I've been negligent, I know. Depriving some of you. Things are a bit hectic at the moment. but i'll let you know about everything that's been going on in my life once things come down.

Pippin casting--boy were there some surprises there. this show is going to rock hardcore. i can feel it in my bones for some reason...the casting decisions have solid written on them...overall one of the most talented casts i've had the pleasure to work with. i'm jonesin' for this girl who's playing fastrada...multi-talented girl who reminds me of marin mazzie....so you know she's all buttons and bows to me.

Just got back (well yesterday morning) from an impromptu trip to NYC where i staid with jon! w00 w00....will regale you with all of that soon. some sad and some not so sad.

New blood and journal connection: i met another online journaller. IKO! w00 w00 the one responsible for the fantastic graphics on the journal entry page...will talk about that. And i met the infamous Luna Wanton who may be going to DUKE in the future.

friends and foes: sightings...of course i ran into someone from carolina who'd just moved to nyc...on a random new york street. it happens almost every trip (only once in how many trips did it not.)

Name and deity confirmation: People jest when they see MamaNilla is lord of the Universe. well no more. I was officially claimed a GOD this past weekend by this busker on the street. i kid not. an amazing experience.

So i'm planning to write these entries longhand and transfer them when i can get back to a computer...hurricanes suck. gw is closed today at 3:30pm and all day tomorrow....w00 i guess FRAN really scared the bejezzus out of everyone.
